When you have a need to install banners (graphic images with links) on your website, and you want to be able to quickly and easily change which banners are being displayed in several (or many) locations without having to republish your website, then Max Banners is for you.

Simply stated, you put a snippet of code on your webpage(s). This snippet includes an identifier number. When you run Max Banners, you can specify which banners should be displayed for that particular identifier number. You can have many snippets, each with a different ID number, at many places in your website. You can use Max Banners to individually change which banners are displayed at a given ID number. OR you can globally change all the banners associated with all the ID numbers, if you wish.

You can even select a number of banners to be 'rotated' in one spot -- meaning that every time the page is visited, a different banner appears.

The concept of Max Banners is simple:

Using Max Banners, you first upload a number of banners that you wish to have displayed on various pages on your website. (You can associate text and a URL with each banner.)

Then you select one (or a number) of these banners to be given an ID number. You can define as many grouping of banners as you like, each with a different ID number.

Then when you put that ID number on a webpage (using simple Javascript) the banners associated with that ID number will be displayed.

Thus, using the Max Banners Control Panels, you can modify which banners are associated with a given ID number (or all ID numbers at once) and voila! The display of banners on all those webpages are instantly changed.

The Max Banners program includes complete documentation and "how-to" suggestions on the pages to remind you of what needs being done.

The configuration process is relatively simple. If you need help with that phase, just contact me and I'll be glad to install and configure the package for you and help you get started.
